The TruFare Pricing Transparency Pledge
Clarity Over Confusion. Always.
Last Updated: July 2, 2025
TL;DR – We show you the full price—including hidden fees—before you buy. No spin. No bias. Just honest comparisons so you can make smarter choices. We don't play favorites, and we don't slam competitors. We just believe the truth belongs to the buyer.
Why This Policy Exists
We shine a light on murky ticket prices—and that includes how platforms stack up against each other.
But we believe in fairness, too. That's why we created a pricing display policy grounded in:
- Real-time, verifiable data
- Clear source labeling
- Neutral, respectful comparisons
- Full context and transparency
It's not about calling anyone out. It's about lifting consumers up.
How We Compare Prices
We show you:
- The total cost (base + fees) across platforms like SeatGeek, StubHub, Ticketmaster, and more
- The platform it came from (e.g. "via Ticketmaster")
- The fee percentage compared to the average
- The date/time we found it (because prices can change fast)
We pull this info from public listings, APIs, or structured page data.
We never fake prices, cache outdated comparisons, or crop screenshots to make one platform look worse.
How We Keep It Ethical
- No roasting. No rivalry. We don't bash platforms. We let the numbers speak.
- No favoritism. If Ticketmaster has the best price, we'll say so.
- No hidden math. Our fee % is based on real total cost vs. base price.
- No manipulation. We don't reorder listings based on affiliate relationships.
- No pressure. You pick your platform. We just show the whole picture.
Our North Star
TruFare exists to give users confidence and control.
We believe that when prices are honest, everyone wins—buyers, sellers, artists, and platforms.
We're not here to take sides. We're here to tell the truth.

Transparency You Can Trust
Because honest pricing shouldn't be a luxury.
